The annual Diocesan Christmas Carols were performed on Sunday 8th December 2013 in the Cathedral of St John's. It was a varied programme which in addition to the traditional carols included Mozart's Gloria and Haydn's The Heavens are Telling. Before the reading from John 1 by Rev. Mqunyana the choir sang Worth is the Lamb from Handel's Messiah, and after it the Hallelujah chorus from the same work. Presents were given to all the children who were there as well as to the Bishop, the Dean, the Provost, the Diocesan Secretary and the choir's chaplain.
