VEN B. J. MDITSHANE

CALLED TO SERVE AND NOT TO WORK
I heard them shouting for hours of work
I heard them demanding remuneration
I saw them demanding promotion
I hear them talking about positions
I hear them discussing about their rights

What is happening?
Have we lost direction and vision?
Is it about work or service?
It is not about a change of heart and mind?
Is it not about total commitment?

Can somebody tell us the difference?
Who said you must be compensated for your services?
Why demanding such?
In His service we do not have rights but privileges.
In His service we are blessed.

Why harsh on people as if slaves?
Where is that compassion?
Where is that love?
Why rule with an iron hand?
Oh! Dear Lord Help us not to forget who we are.

Servants must serve and not demand to be served.
By serving people we are offering a service to God.
A servant wood attitude is the key.
Humility is an added attribute.
Remember proud goes before a fall.
The attitude of a worker and a servant differs.
A servant knows no hours of business.
A worker has stipulated hours of business.
Others want to go up others humble themselves.
Called to serve and not to work.
